SCHEDULE
Our daily schedule is intentionally simple and streamlined in order to reduce transitions. Transitions can be difficult for young children, especially in a group setting. Eliminating unnecessary transitions reduces potential conflict and challenging behavior that can arise during these times. Additionally, dividing time into larger blocks allows children the freedom to engage in longer periods of uninterrupted work and play and develop a greater capacity for focused concentration.
8:30 AM - 9:45 AM: Free Play in Outdoor Classroom
9:45 AM - 10:15 AM: Whole Group Morning Gathering
10:15 AM - 12:00 PM: Experiential Learning in Indoor Classroom
12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Family Style Lunch & Rest
2:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Guided Outdoor Experiences
Teachers and students gather together in our outdoor classroom to begin the day, connecting to nature and each other, all while getting a good dose of fresh air. Our outdoor space is filled with invitations to engage in creative play.
During the experiential learning time in the indoor classroom, students are free to choose activities that interest them and are developmentally appropriate. Teachers are present to guide and support each child in his or her unique learning style and stage. This uninterrupted portion of the day provides ample time for teachers to circulate the room, working with students one-on-one to cultivate an optimal educational experience.

HALF DAY: 8:30 - 12:00
FULL DAY: 8:30 - 3:30
3 DAYS / WEEK: Choose any 3 days
4 DAYS / WEEK: Choose any 4 days
5 DAYS / WEEK: Monday - Friday
